Alyson Kinkade

“Over the years my focus has transitioned more and more toward the fleeting beauty that surrounds us daily. My primary goal through the interpretation in paint of my observations of nature is to allow the viewer a moment of respite in the bustle of our days: to celebrate the brilliance of color, get lost in the airiness of the sky, or bask in the quietude of our open spaces.”

Kinkade earned a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute in 1999. In 2002 Southwest Art Magazine listed Alyson as one of the “top 21 artists under 31”. In Sept 2005 SWart published her first feature editorial, and 2010 brought editorial on her abstract landscapes from American Art Collector Magazine. Alyson continues to create new works from her Loveland, Colorado studio.

At times the only thing that can rival the enormity of the undulating Front Range is the expansiveness of a clear blue Colorado sky.
