Pat Howard is a Colorado artist, known for her bright and inviting watercolor paintings. Intriguing contrasts of patterns and textures are often seen in her work.
Pat has had solo shows in Colorado and has been accepted into numerous national exhibitions, including the Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Show in Golden, Colorado, and the Adirondack National Exhibition of American Watercolors in New York. She has won awards for her work, over the years — including First Place Watermedia in Richeson 75 International Still Life/Floral competition.
Pat’s portraits are in private collections all over the country, and her watercolor paintings are in medical centers and corporate headquarters, throughout the US. She is currently represented by Columbine Gallery, in Loveland, Colorado.
Pat received her formal education at Miami University in Ohio. Later, while raising her four sons, she studied art at the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, and at the Art Institute of Colorado.
