James is always searching for inspiration and techniques to give his paintings essence. A early childhood interest in art started the journey and building the skills that would be the journey of his life. Biggers discovered, “At some point you have to put something of yourself into your work, without this element you will never have a great painting. Technique is what attracts people to your painting, heart is what keeps them there.” The best way to capture the heart of a subject is to paint from life. Capturing a frozen moment in time is what we do as artists. The result is how we see! A painting will forever capture that moment and feeling that no memory can quite retain.
