Anna Rose Bain

Anna Rose Bain is an award-winning figurative oil painter. Anna’s style is a combination of both classical and direct painting methods. Her paintings are an expression of gratitude and an exploration of the questions one faces at different stages of their life.

Anna was born and raised in rural Wisconsin. She was self taught until attending Hillsdale College, where she became the first student in the college’s history to have a solo senior exhibit. She graduated in 2007 with departmental honors, but continued her education by taking workshops with several renowned artists.

Anna now resides in Westminster, CO with her husband, Steve, and daughter Cecelia. She paints full time, teaches workshops, and is actively involved in the local arts communities. Anna is a member of several noted art organizations, and serves as a faculty member for the Portrait Society of America.
