Blaise Simonelli

Blaise is an abstract expressionist painter in Boulder. She first started painting at home in 2018, after attending an “Open Studios” tour. She works with acrylics and mark making tools. When painting, she strives to harmonize both quiet and bold areas in her work. Painting is both liberating and humiliating for Blaise, and she finds both important to her practice.
