Colorado native, Scott Ruthven has spent his life drawing inspiration from our magnificent landscape. His dedication to painting out-of-doors, year-round shows through in the genuine sense of place you feel in his work. “I strive to create paintings that are a visual treat, paintings you want to explore and in which, you can almost feel the warm sunshine on your face”. Scott’s paintings have been published in books and magazines, are in collections throughout the United States and have won major awards with Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society and the Art Renewal Center.
Scott is a CSU Alumni and lives in Fort Collins.
