“There is a reason we don’t see the world in black and white.

Color is vital to our daily lives.

I find I express things in color and shapes that I can not find words for any other way”

Blending modern insight with old world training, Anita enjoys painting a variety of subject matter in her Centennial, CO studio. She has paintings from her mother and her maternal grandmother who were both accomplished artists. Anita first studied art at the Nelson-Atkins Museum at six years old and trained for three years in the Russian school of painting with Don Sahli, two years at the Art Student League of Denver and a year studying classical portraiture at the Boulder Academy of Fine Art.

Anita is a Founding Emeritus member of the Plein Air Artists Colorado and signature member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society and Outdoor Painters Society.
