“My goal as an artist is to share what I see in Nature, and hopefully inspire the viewer to take a walk, and maybe look a little closer at the flora, fauna and the natural elements with a sense of awe.

“Currently my artwork is focused on the beauty, power and mystery of water. While painting water, I strive to capture the magical still-point between realism and the ethereal world through my memories and observational studies. Basically, I’m an artist exploring contemporary realism with a wannabe nature-nerd attitude with a twist of mysticism.

“On a good day, painting connects me to the essence of my subject, and it will teach me to pause, observe and reflect. Art isn’t just my passion, or creative expression, or even a product of years of diligent practice. Painting is my daily compass.”
