Chuck Mardosz has been painting professionally since the 1980’s. He earned his Fine Art degree from the American Academy of Art in Chicago in 1976 and went on to study at the Art Institute in Chicago. His lush, representational style of
Chuck Mardosz has been painting professionally since the 1980’s. He earned his Fine Art degree from the American Academy of Art in Chicago in 1976 and went on to study at the Art Institute in Chicago. His lush, representational style of painting reflects his admiration for Masters Nicolai Fechin, John Singer Sargent and Richard Schmid. He loves to paint almost everything. His versatility shows in his European scenes, American Western scenes, seascapes, landscapes, figures and still lifes.
He’s been featured in many publications including Southwest Art Magazine, Western Art Collector and American Art Collector. He’s participated in national and regional art exhibitions and has received numerous awards. He co-founded the Cottonwood Artists’ School in Colorado Springs. Burnett Interiors in Ruidoso, NM and Anita Marie Fine Art in Colorado Springs currently represent him. Chuck teaches painting at his studio.
