Daniel Glanz
Loveland, CO
Daniel’s early passion for both the arts and animals flourished even as a young teenager. He worked for veterinarians, researchers in California and Mexico and, while attending Colorado State University and Minneapolis College of Art and Design, lived in the rainforest of Panama illustrating for the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute.
Full of inspiration, Colorado has been his home for more than 40 years, but the lure of wild places has taken him to the Antarctic, Africa and the Galapagos among other places.
His beautiful sculpture has been exhibited in exhibitions at many Natural History and Art Museums and can be found in permanent collections, public art venues, and private collections around the world.
He is an Elected Member of the National Sculpture Society, a Signature Member of the Society of Animal Artists and a Fellow of the National Sculptors’ Guild. Â Gallery representation is throughout the western United States.
