“I love mixing colors, mixing papers, mixing media, and, often mixing metaphors, to create abstract paintings that have been ‘layered up’ to capture a mood, a moment, an object, or an idea while still leaving hints of those previous layers.

“After a career working ‘behind the scenes’ in art/film/event management, I am beyond thrilled to be finding and using my own creative voice. I am self-taught and working in my studio each and every day–taking chances, failing, succeeding (or something in between.) Well, it all makes my heart happy.

“My work has been accepted into juried exhibits in California, Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Washington.”
