Nancee Jean Busse spent her working life first as an art teacher, then as an illustrator for the children’s market, focusing on science and nature illustrations. That focus carried into her painting as her career transitioned. Her paintings of the landscapes and animals of the American West have been both juried and invited into national exhibitions. She has been invited to hang work at the American Association for the Advancement of Science headquarters in Washington, DC. She has been profiled in Colorado Life Magazine, Western Art Collector, Southwest Art, and Visual Language Magazine. A large component of her success is her personal enthusiasm for her art, nature, and the American West.
