LOVELAND, CO
“Heat is my medium, hot metal tips are my primary brushes, acrylic paint subtlety accentuates my work, paper is my substrate. For 20 years, I have discovered innovative ways to express my artistic vision through pyrography and color. My work is solely based on personal observations of the West’s diverse landscape, animals native to the Rocky Mountain region, as well as ranch life and rodeos. Abstract realism describes my style; of passion and respect I continuously discover innovative ways to portray these subjects in my work. An award-winning artist, my work is juried into internationally-renown shows and exhibitions, is purchased by museums and is privately collected throughout the world. I also share my love of pyrography through teaching workshops and online courses.”
