Full Bio

“It always amazes me that an arrangement of paint can evoke an entire range of experience – a sense of wonder, solitude, peace, joy. The paintings in this show are about my experience of the western landscape. The play of light across the land is a spiritual as well as sensual experience. I strive to go beyond the purely visual, evoking all the senses, reaching for a complete experience of a place, how it digs deep into the heart and soul.”
