“As a native of Colorado, I was born with a passion for wildlife, horses and riding rodeo. The inspiration to draw came from God in 2002.
“The medium I enjoy the most is color pencil. I enjoy capturing the realism and detail of moments in time…a soft gaze of a horse, down time
“As a native of Colorado, I was born with a passion for wildlife, horses and riding rodeo. The inspiration to draw came from God in 2002.
“The medium I enjoy the most is color pencil. I enjoy capturing the realism and detail of moments in time…a soft gaze of a horse, down time of a cowboy, a sparrow on a door handle, or drops of water on a flower petal. I cherish the chance to slow down in this fast-paced world expressing the essence of these snippets of time on paper, hoping others will be captivated by them also.
“I’m inspired by the works of Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell. Recent artists Chris Owens, Quang Ho, Jesse Layne and local abstract artist, my mentor, Tadashi Hayakawa.
“My greatest desire is to continue learning, growing and excelling in my drawing; to always be a student of art!”
